Many times after my magic shows I’ll have several peope (both adults and kids) asking how I got started performing magic. After a few years I began to realize what they REALLY were asking was how could THEY start performing magic.  I usually tell them to find good books on magic, join a magic club and read as much as possible. Just recently I stumbled across an eBook entitled "Magician’s Success Guide" which gives  pretty good advice on various topics for beginners who are interested in learning , not only magic tricks, but also  the business end of performing.
